Smashbox cosmetics joins Vancouver Fashion Week for a Spring/Summer season. 🙂
So fashion weeks are happening all over the world now, and that includes Vancouver Fashion Week. And one of the things I (and my mommy) certainly took advantage of this season is Smashbox cosmetics sponsorship and special offers in the shows. :))
So Smashbox became VFW’s makeup sponsor for this season, and I heard they were selling some products and special deals on the runway. My mom and I can’t refuse… Here’s what we pulled off the stand (much to the makeup artists’ delight):
The real sweet-deal in this haul is the studio groupie kit! 🙂 The retail price at the VFW was 68CAD + tax = 76.16 CAD. But the actual value of the contents are nearly double that price.
Here’s what was inside the kit, with price comparisons from Sephora…
Eyeshadow Quad “Stage One”: 15CAD
Blush Rush “Marvelous”: 29CAD
Photo Finish Lid Primer: 22CAD
Full Exposure Mascara: 22CAD
Double-ended lipgloss duo: 24CAD
And of course this foldable leather clutch. ❤ You can use it as a makeup bag, or an actual clutch for parties. Love it! Price is unknown.
So 76.16CAD for all these full size makeup, and a bag, feels like a pretty good deal. 🙂 My mom loved it.
But apart from that, check out these other freebies and deluxe sizes the lovely Smashbox ladies gave me…
Photo Set Pressed Powder in Fair: This is sooo cute! The little compact deluxe sample is so small, it can fit in my wallet. Adorable! The Smashbox ladies gave me 2 of them. 🙂 Both are for my mom, who is fairer than me anyway.
Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder in Light: I got two of these as well. The deluxe sample size is about the size of an eyeshadow pigment cap. Two of these are enough to last me months! And I actually tried this yesterday… I might just end up loving this. 🙂
That’s all for now! 🙂 Hope you all liked it. And, is there any particular Smashbox product here that you guys want me to specifically review? 🙂
Stay tuned for another post about my experience Vancouver Fashion Week. 🙂 You wont wanna’ miss it! 🙂
xoxo, Jenica. 🙂
